Musikgarten, an educational music and movement program, lays an excellent foundation for all children who want to play an instrument in their future. Musikgarten Camps, offered in June, provide a great introduction and/or follow-up to Musikgarten classes offered during the school year.

Our always anticipated Summer Camp provides a week of various activities ranging from Bottle Rocketry and Archery to Needle Felting and Faerie Gardens. Camp songs, skits and fun in the sun round out a very full week of day camp. At the week's end, families attend a cookout, ceremony, and bonfire.

Theatre Camp is offered in August. In 2008, the selected play was A Midsummer Night's Dream for Kids, by Lois Burkhart. The whole week was filled with activities which immersed the students in the Elizabethan time period. Among many other pursuits, they made knights' helmets and shields, learned the Pavanne, made woodcut prints, and learned a Renaissance piece on the recorder – all this while memorizing their lines for their performance at the end of the week. Families attended the performance and then feasted on a Renaissance meal!
